Meet Steve
Steve Hoffman brings over 30 years of proven leadership in security, risk management, and operational strategy. As a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International and holder of a Master’s Degree in leadership from Royal Roads University, Steve combines academic insight with extensive real-world experience to deliver pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
Steve has worked extensively in Canada and the United States, as well as internationally, including several years residing in the United Arab Emirates, where he led the operations of a private security company. His global perspective enhances his ability to address complex security challenges in diverse environments and jurisdictions.
Before founding Presidium Solutions, Steve served as the National Vice President of Consulting & Investigations (C&I) at GardaWorld, where he oversaw C&I services across Canada for a wide variety of clients. Previous to his role at GardaWorld, Steve served as Special Advisor at the Ministry of Justice, where he was responsible for province-wide security, safety, and risk management initiatives in British Columbia. His career spans roles in business development, organizational leadership, and operational efficiency across both public and private sectors.
Steve’s core expertise includes security consulting, risk assessment, organizational leadership, and crisis response. Known for his ability to lead in complex, high-pressure environments, Steve is a trusted advisor to organizations seeking expert guidance on safeguarding people, assets, and operations.
